1:53 PM Action:  Commissioner Ose inquired about amending the motion to reflect a date certain for the submission of a proposal; it was agreed that September 12, 2012 is the “date certain.”

1:55 PM Action:  Commissioner Gillum requested the recommendations be separated into three actions instead of all by one motion.  Chair agreed.

·         Commissioner Vincent stated "for the record" that she was concerned about the $10,000 Technical Assistance Grant.

·         Commissioner Ose inquired about the rules of order for reconsidering a matter.  Council advised that only a member voting against the motion could make a motion for reconsideration.  The motion to reconsider and the matter to be reconsidered, if the motion is approved, must both be on the Agenda.

·        Commissioner Ose inquired about the status of Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD’s) wondering if the outbreak has continued or if it has been abated.  Council advised this discussion should take place at another meeting.  Accordingly, Mr. Ose requested an update and an Agenda item at the next meeting.
